UnitingCare’s Older Persons Programs consists of:
- Seniors Enquiry Line is a state-wide free information and referral service funded by the Queensland Government Department of Seniors, Disability Services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships. Anyone can call Seniors Enquiry Line – you don’t have to be a senior. One call can put you in touch with a real person who can provide information and referrals around topics such as: home help, concessions, financial services, legal services, social and leisure activities, health, technology, transport, housing options, scams and consumer issues. No question is too big or too small!
The Seniors Enquiry Line has the ability to provide information sessions around scams and consumer issues to social clubs and service providers. If you’re in the Greater Brisbane Region and would like to organise a session, please contact the Seniors Enquiry Line on 1300 135 500.

Callers can choose to remain anonymous. This helpline operates Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays).

Support includes information, referral and telephone support. Time for Grandparents may also be able to provide eligible grandparents with financial assistance for extracurricular activities (such as Scouts, swimming, football). Eligible grandparents may also be able to spend time with their grandchildren on organised Time for Grandparents Grandfamily Camps. Peer support groups are also available.
