I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Dickson residents a safe Christmas and a prosperous 2017. As we all celebrate Christmas this year, I hope you spend valuable time with your family and friends to appreciate the great opportunities we have in Australia.
I also ask you to please spare a thought this Christmas for our troops overseas as well as for those in our community who are less fortunate than ourselves. My office is again collecting
donations for the Pine Rivers Care Network Christmas Hamper Appeal. The hampers
will go to those in need this Christmas and require donations of non-perishable food items such as tin fruit, biscuits, cake, custard, fruit juices and tinned vegetables. If you are able to make a donation to one of the hampers please drop the items into my office.
Please stay safe on the roads this Christmas and remember that driver fatigue is one of the leading causes of accidents, especially at this time of year.
On behalf of my family and staff, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
