beyondblue Anxiety and Depression Awareness (ADA) Month during October provides an opportunity for workplaces, community groups and individuals to take part in activities to raise awareness of anxiety and depression and help reduce the associated stigma.

Depression is common and can affect anyone at any time for many different reasons.

More than one million people in Australia experience depression, anxiety or related alcohol and drug problems each year. With the right treatment, most people recover.

How can you get involved in beyondblue's ADA Month?

Raising awareness is easy. Sometimes the simplest contributions have the greatest impact. Finding out more depression and anxiety and sharing the facts with your family, friends and work colleagues helps to reduce the associated stigma.
