The Green Army is engaging young Australians in activities that will deliver real and lasting benefits for our unique environment while improving employment and career opportunities.
During 2014, 66 projects commenced across Australia, training young people in activities including revegetation, habitat and waterway rehabilitation and the enhancement and management of natural, built and cultural heritage places.
Applications have been opened for Round Three of the Green Army, and will close on 17 March 2015. Through community-led projects, the Green Army provides a great opportunity to make a real difference to our local environment. Round Three is seeking applications from community groups that support practical environment and conservation activities.
